i know jamie probably had his uncle's day gift wrapped at a papersource or something, but i like to imagine he spent as long picking searching for the perfect box/bow and wrapping it as he did the present itself! he loves getting gifts for roy and keeley but especially keeley bc she appreciates the presentation. i can see roy trying to wrap a present pretty for them and fails terribly but they love it bc they know how much work he put into it (they feel like he did about phoebe's tie dye shirt lol)
Oh this is the absolute cutest. Jamie definitely went to the shops to have them do the wrapping but it was very much under his curation. He was picking between different shades of black to find just the right one, he was personally selecting the matching bow…I firmly believe this anon!!!
Keeley and Jamie would be sooooo excited about gift-giving every time and they also would be the most obnoxious gift-unwrappers making each and every present an individual Moment. Whereas Roy hates opening gifts because he hates the attention and never knows how to react. He does his best for them though <3
Also I find it interesting that Keeley says Jamie would be upset by the picture of her and Ted hitting the papers NOT because he might think she’s cheating on him or whatever but because he’s going to be mad at reporters for invading their relationship…. There’s never once a fear that he might be mad at her
My new headcanon is that Keeley wraps all her gifts for other people beautifully but then ends up unwrapping them herself as she’s giving it to them. Meanwhile Jamie over explains all of his gifts as he’s handing them over, before the person has even had a chance to unwrap it. Neither one can be stopped. Roy’s birthdays are a nightmare.
Today’s season one thoughts why did keeley buy such a giant bag for this tiny little cactus that she immediately unwraps herself girl why even bother with the gift bag in the first place
